Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years’ experience in the oil gas industry with subsea engineering, construction, installation and commissioning experience. Knowledge and application of Deepwater Engineering Design, Construction and Installation Standards and codes
• Experience of working on West Africa Projects
• Strong personal commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental Performance
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with client and contractor personnel.
• Ability to work proactively & independently
• Shall have a track record of managing multi-national personnel within a major project environment

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee principal project offshore installation activities (Pipelines, Power cable installation.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects (pipelay, cable lay, structure installation etc.).
• Manage any field issues / constraints with recommendations to mitigate.
• Mange safety, costs and schedule on assigned projects.
• Coordinate between the construction contractor, field team, and other 3rd parties.
• Actively engage in project meetings to ensure expectations and plans are clear and coordinated to all stakeholders.
• Act as a Subsea Authority within Management of Change system and undertake functional reviews as appropriate.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment where required.
• Provide technical support and monitoring where necessary during project planning engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning of subsea pipelines and structures.
• Provide coaching / mentor national and junior team members as necessary
