NORMANDY-FECAMP PROJECT

Location: deployed offshore onboard

GENERAL ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

Electronic data acquisition box installation (LV) on top of a Gravity Based Structure (GBS), cable routing, placement of antennas and software configuration/ Placement of antennas, manual lifting from boat to top of GBS and software configuration.

Requirements:

• Electric background
• Good level of English
• EU Status to work
• OGUK or other Offshore Medical fit certificate).
• Full GWO (5 unit)
• MIST or BOSIET (preferred)

Other requirement

If not French:  A1 Social Security Certificate (to be completed on dedicated website platform)

Role Scope

• Working with multidisciplinary teams of 5 to 10 people
• Working under the supervision of the Service Manager to assist with delivery of projects.

Behavioural Attributes / Competencies

• Ability to work under pressure, particularly at project delivery time or during offshore installation
• Practical aptitude: will need to be hands on
• Ability to troubleshoot and think on feet during system integration and installation
• Organized & disciplined, able to manage complex delivery schedule
• Motivated, hard-working and focused on end goal. Project workload comes in cycles and can be quite high during project delivery phase
• Team player. Need to get on with people at all levels (senior managers, engineers, technicians), persuasive, consultative approach preferred

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a service or maintenance role, preferably electronics / electromechanical
• Proven experience in installing and commissioning of electronic systems
• Logical fault finding skills
• Computer literate. Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
• B-TEC First Certificate in electronics / electrical, apprenticeship or extensive experience in a similar role
• Experience in using oscilloscopes, PSUs, voltmeters and other similar test equipment
• Competent at writing detailed reports and creating procedure and project documents as required
