SUMMARY

The client’s EIC team is engaged in the client’s strategy to realize a smooth energy transition, supporting with knowhow in the overall spectrum of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls expertise on the Low Carbon Oils & Gas, Offshore Wind and New Energies from Technology development up to Project Delivery.

The EIC Engineer – Electrical will be based in Paris, France, and mainly allocated in Technology and Product Development and support tenders and studies, however he/she shall be able to support in other scopes within the team responsibilities.

MAIN MISSIONS:

• Provide specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice.
• Independently evaluate, organize and prioritize work for self and others.
• Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables.
• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
• Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as per Subsea7 HSE Role and Responsibility matrix.
• Perform and review electrical analysis.
• Sizing of Electrical components
• Testing and commissioning.

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical Engineering degree or PhD
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in EIC
• Technical knowledge: Electrical System – LV/MV/HV AC. Expertise on Electrical Failure modes with emphasis in Partial Discharge. Hardware specification.
• Experience with power distribution calculation using ETAP software desirable
• English Fluent, French Fluent.
