Job Descriptions:

To develop, in conjunction with the Production Planner, Production Engineer and responsible Manager, the overall Production Schedule including Sub-contractors' Schedules.

To verify that the drawings and specifications provide adequate detail and definition for the work and advice the Project Engineer and Project Manager of any deficiencies or clarifications needed.

To hold Constructability reviews with the fabrication yard and determine the most effective and appropriate methods of construction of the project scope of work to ensure maximum effective use of resources.

To manage the execution of the project by effectively assigning personnel, materials and equipment in a timely and appropriate manner.

To be fully conversant with the Project Scope of Work, Project Specifications to be able to provide support to the yard in a timely manner to avoid schedule delays and wasted use of resource.

To be the primary point of contact between Production and the Client to maintain a good working relationship to resolve potential issues before they arise. This will require a great deal of diplomacy and the ability to preserve the harmony between all parties.

To constantly review and monitor progress in the yard and attend yard meetings as the Production Managers representative to Provide progress reporting and planning look-ahead's.

To co-ordinate and report to the Operation Manager on a daily basis on all progress matters and problem areas and be able to offer practical solutions to resolve problems.

To ensure that all Project systems of Quality Assurance are adhered to and assist the Project Quality Manager in the application of the IT P and Procedures.

To ensure that company systems for Control of Project Materials are adhered to by all parties.

To play an active role in the implementation of HSE policies and procedures particularly the Project IIF Legacy.

To coordinate the work and activities of subcontractors employed on the project and to ensure that they are fully aware of their obligations and responsibilities before work starts.

To ensure, before any variation work is carried out by a subcontractor that written authorization has been given by the Project Manager.

To assist in the refuting of any claims by the Sub-contractor of delays, waiting time or abortive work.

To develop and implement overall project plan including project schedule, cost plan, manpower mobilization plan

To develop and implement overall project execution plan covering all work scopes including engineering, procurement, fabrication, pre-commissioning, commissioning, loadout, etc.

To manage of subcontracted works.

To communicate with representatives from client, partners and major subcontractors.

To review and submit project reports to representative from client.

If necessary, may perform other tasks related to those mentioned above.

Requirements: A degree or diploma in engineering. Should have experience in the above mentioned field of minimum 15 years and 5 years in leadership; should have experience at work in fabrication yards. Strong capacity to work under pressure and ability to remain diplomatic. Must have the ability to work with and train other members of the team at all levels, understanding site requirements, regarding safety, time keep and PPE; good reading and writing skills, and English languages; willing to learn and interested in the given work has to be punctual, assiduous, real, dutiful, indebted, active, has to be loyal, honest, willing to learn and interested in the given work
