SUMMARY

As Engineering Quality and Compliance Manager (EQCM) you are responsible for AMEC projects compliance with the BMS and AMEC engineering management standards and guidelines.

The scope of work focuses on live projects and execution FEEDs ensuring the quality of engineering in line with the set processes; this includes client’s engineering management, QHSE, internal interfaces, client and supplier interfaces, resource management and budget control.

Responsibilities may also include training and all other related business activities.

 

SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and ACTIVITIES

  • Identify and maintain up to date standards, tools and processes required to perform quality engineering management and control in line with Client and AMEC standards
  • Where gap has been identified, develop new standards, tool and processes required to perform quality engineering management and control
  • Ensure that standard of engineering management and control complies with Client specifications along with appropriate legislation
  • Ensure all engineering managers on AMEC projects are aware of, and comply with, BMS and AMEC processes and systems
  • Promote and facilitate awareness of client’s QA and HSE procedures
  • Impose through engineering tools and processes the consideration of safety of personnel and assets and minimizing the loss
  • Promote AMEC standards, tools and processes to regional teams working on AMEC projects

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as Lead Engineer or Project Engineering Management in Oil & Gas EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) projects
  • Tendering experience is a plus (CFT)
  • Relevant experience working with topics around process compliance, internal audit, quality audit, etc. ..
  • Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures
  • Solid professional contact with business operations and project management
  • Strong skills to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers
  • Problem-solving and process improvement focus are essential.
  • English fluent. French fluent.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Power BI
